Cantonese is perhaps the best-known of all Chinese cuisines, and Zi Yat Heen proves a mighty showcase. The Peking Duck here ranks among some of the best I have eaten anywhere ‚ the same goes for the chilled mango pudding. Other stand-outs include sauted lobster with egg white and the signature braised pork ribs. Despite their reputation for ‚eating anything with four legs that‚s not a table‚, Cantonese like their legumes, and there‚s a good selection of vegetarian dishes. Birds‚ nest and abalone command top prices, and are something of an acquired taste. As might be expected at a Four Seasons hotel, staff, dcor and ambience are more than a match for the menu.
