This little gem of a bar is in downtown‚ Havana, just down the street from the city‚s‚ Capitol‚ building. As it is on the corner of a colonial style building, the big, wide open doors allow the visitors to have a great view of the overloaded with pedestrians streets and the always busy‚ Plaza del Cristo‚ square.
Open since December of 2014, El Dandy is full of pieces of art and books,‚ offering a relaxing setting that makes you feel at home, while presenting‚ those excellent and so typical for‚ Cuba‚ different types of coffee and cocktails. The place proposes everything inside for sale ‚ the paintings, photographs, props, books, as well as homemade honey, sold in old‚ Coca-Colabottles and‚ Cuban‚ sugar. These things are usually not found or sold in bars around town, making this one truly unique. The friendly staff will only add to the wonderful experience, as they are always ready to assist and make the guest‚s stay so much more pleasurable.
